Senior Expert, Department of Sustainability Standards

Sevgi KILIÇ ER graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Gazi University, Department of Business Administration, in 2012. She began her career in 2013 as an Assistant Expert at the Public Oversight, Accounting and Auditing Standards Authority of Türkiye (KGK). In 2017, she was promoted to the title of Expert and continued working in the Department of Accounting Standards. During this period, she actively contributed to technical studies on the Turkish Financial Reporting Standards and initiatives related to the implementation of the Financial Reporting Standard for Large and Medium-Sized Enterprises. She also served for a year as a member of the Review Committee.

Since 2022, she has been working as a Senior Expert at the Department of Sustainability Standards. She has taken on a leading role in projects aimed at the incorporation of the Turkish Sustainability Reporting Standards into national legislation, enhancing their applicability, and promoting awareness.

Her areas of expertise include sustainability reporting, financial reporting, review and oversight processes, and alignment with international standards. She also holds active responsibility in technical efforts to strengthen the linkage between financial reporting and sustainability reporting.
