Hande is a Partner at PwC Turkiye and leads the Internal Audit and Risk Services practice.

She began her professional career in 2004 as an assistant internal auditor at the Board of Internal Auditors of a private bank and transitioned into the consulting sector in 2008. Since then, she has been providing consultancy services to both local and international clients in the private and public sectors across various industries. Hande started working with PwC in 2019 as an external subject matter expert and has continued her career under the PwC umbrella since December 2020.

Her areas of expertise are the design of enterprise risk management mechanism, top management structure, family constitutions, establishment, assessment and enhancement of internal audit, internal control, and risk management systems, and redesign of processes from risk and control perspective. Before becoming a Partner, she served as a ‘Project Manager’ on behalf of PwC Turkiye in transformation projects for large-scale international companies.

She has also represented PwC in the management of the “ESG Risks within the Scope of Enterprise Risk Management” Sub-Working Group under the Business Council for Sustainable Development Turkey (BCSD Turkey).

In addition, she regularly appears as a guest speaker on corporate governance topics at institutions such as Marmara University, Özyeğin University, Fenerbahçe University, and the Corporate Governance Association of Turkey (TKYD), among others.

Certification: Hande is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and holds Certification on Risk Management Assurance (CRMA), Certification in Control Self-Assessment (CCSA).
